Encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS)
SSL/TLS is the protocol that encrypts data traffic between your browser and the server. 256-bit encryption ensures that the information transmitted (login, order, and payment data) is protected so that it cannot be read by third parties. The padlock icon in the address bar and the https:// prefix are indicators of this protection.
Why does it matter?
Data transmitted over an unencrypted connection can be intercepted on the network. SSL/TLS encrypts all traffic, from session information through to the payment step, preventing man-in-the-middle attacks.
How is it implemented in B2BPro?
All access to B2BPro is provided over HTTPS with up-to-date TLS encryption. Every type of traffic is transmitted encrypted, including the admin panel, the dealer portal, and the payment steps.
